1999 Honda Civic To much fuel getting through

I have 1999 Honda Civic Ex and I just replaced the intake manifold on it an know whenever i start it, it automatically revvs up to about 5,000 or 6,000 rpms. I cant figure out why its doing this all of the sudden.....any help would be great.

Could be the IACV needs relearning or sticking when you disconnect the battery also check the throttle position sensor.

Well the intake manifold that i just took off was stock im pretty sure and it didnt have a IACV on it it was sealed off......but the new one i just got has the opening for it....do i have to have one on there? and how can i check the throttle position sensor?
