My daughter's 1999 Honda Civic Coupe EX has a blown engine. What are the best options in selling or disposing of the vehicle? Are there salvage buyers that will pay for the car and come and get it?

Scrap prices are really low in these times. There are junk men that will come pick it up for you but theyre likely to only give you a couple hundred dollars or less for it. If the rest of the car is in ok shape I'd either put a motor in it and continue driving it or try to sell it as is. 140K isnt that many miles, especially on a late model vehicle. If you're technically inclined you could also part it out but thats usually a long and involved process. Long story short, fix it and keep it or sell it fixed or not. Not really worth it to junk it
