Hello,

I recently failed MOT due to headlight has no beam pattern. I was told that further investigation is required. I would like to seek your invaluable advice.

Also, what is "engine undershield"? Is it the big plastic cover connected underneath the front bumper?

When no beam pattern is diagnosed, it could be the bulbs not seated properly or the reflector has been adjuted out of position.

Yes, you got the correct part for the undershield.
