My car is Honda Civic LXi 1.5 SOHC 4 cylinder 1999 asian model. I am planning to buy a personal ECU diagnostic reader but I am so sure which one will serve because I cant find the ODII connection point inside this car. I've already check under the dashboard, nothing found like the OBDII connector. I know a bit in traditional car mechanical and electrical but nothing in ECU.
Q1. I'd like to know that type of ECU system it used?
Q2. I've read something like paper clip diagnostic technique in checking fault code. Is it applicable for this type of Honda car? If yes, please tell me the procedure and where is the test point.
