1999 Honda Civic CANNOT GET REAR DRUM BACK ON

I just replaced the rear brake shoes and rebuilt the left wheel cylinder on this civic. I cannot get the new brake drum on.
Where isthe adjustment for the parking brake ?
I am thinking that is what is causing my problem.
Please help

Hi 329fg,

Tha cable can be adjusted from under the rear console inside vehicle.

Did you retract the brake shoe adjuster?
