While I was driving my car home one day while pressing the gas pedal, the RPM went all the way up to about 5,000 RPM's and then back down all of a sudden. I would press the gas pedal again and the RPM's would jump up and suddenly my car came to a stop in a parking lot. My transmission fluid leaked all out where I was and I was told that apparently my line busted from my fluid to the transmission and that it's an easy fix. I was told to go buy a line to connect it again with a clamp and obviously put the right amount of fluid in and I would be okay. Do you think that this is the problem and is it do-able ?

Hi jazzman590,

If the leak is from a broken hose, yes, replacing the hose and topping up the fluid should work.
