1998 Honda Civic Automatic 108000 miles

I went to plug in a car charger for my iPod into my power outlet yesterday and there was no charge. I tried the charger in my mother's car (1998 Honda Accord) and the charger worked, so I know it's not the charger itself that is broken. Is there a way to replace the power outlet in my car (inexpensively) so that I can use the charger? Thanks
