I was told by a reapair shop that Honda's never have problems with I.A.C but come to find out I do. I am not very smart when it comes to working on cars but after I found out the price to have the reapair shop change it out I am gonna give her a try. Just curious if it is a simple task or should I leave it to the pros

Hi jluff82,

There is no such thing as never, seldom maybe.

It should be a simple task to replace the IAC and I suppose you got the whole throttle body?

Remove the air intake hose, disconnect wire connectors and coolant hoses on throttle body and IAC. Disconnect the throttle cable and remove the 4 pcs of holding nuts and the throttle body can be removed, barring it sticking on the gaskets.
