I took out the knuckle of a 97 Honda civic to have a new bearing pressed in. Everything went fine coming out and the bearing is seated just fine. When I wnet to reassemble everything the damper fork would not fit on the shock absorber. The damper fork has a pinch bolt which is out, I tried everything to spread it and it just won't go.
Any suggestions?

Hi phil4989,

The fork should be easy to fit in by twisting it slightly.

Ensure the fork is seated correctly before inserting the pinch bolt. The lower arm bolt should be installed last.
