1997 Honda Civic Automatic Window Trouble

I'm pretty sure the motor for the window is shot...the problem is that I can't get the window up and I can't bag it b/c it's the front drivers side window. How can I temporarily get the window up without hurting the other componets?

You can open your door and place one hand on the outside of the glass and one hand on the inside of the glass. Pull it straight up with a little force being careful not to push in or out on it. If the window is completely down you will have to remove your door panel to gain access to the window. This will not harm anything unless you continously do it. You can try pecking on the motor casing while the door panel is off and sometimes it will get the motor working again. This is a temporary fix as it will get stuck again.
