Every summer, when ambient temp. stays at 110 degrees F and higher, and the car runs on idle for about 30 mins.,no problem. But when its time to go, the fuel supply seem to be running out.the more i step on the gas, the more the on/off supply comes. cannot accelerate.I opened the line between the filter and fuel rail and i noticed vapors gushing out with pressure.Switching the keys on and off, fuel was coming good, drained about half gallon.reconnected the line but not tight and made the pump run, fuel was spraying with pressure.now car is running good again.
What could be the problem and how do i fix it for good? every summer the problem comes.during colder days, its ok.

Hi axis, Symptoms indicates a PGM-FI main relay fault that is known to occur when weather temperature is high. Remove the PGM-FI main relay and check the circuit board for cracks to the soldered joints. Replace the solders for those that are cracked and it should be good.
