I have a 96 honda 2 door civic hatchback and the trunk lock no longer closes.
I have tried WD40 to no avail. With the trunk open I use the key to manually close and I see that it clicks and the latch closes, but when I try closing the trunk it does not connect to the latch.
I can not open the lock and see it as I have to cut open a section and weld it back togther like in order to see the barrel and lock.
So how can I fix this without cutting and welding back together. Thank you
