The positive cable/terminal on my battery is stretched. the clamp i should say actually. I tighten it until its not able to turn any more but the cable still comes off the terminal.

Im wondering if there is a quick fix for this or will i have to change the clamp? if its the latter, how will i do so?. will I have to change the whole harness for the positive or can i only change the clamp?

p.s.
I love the site... and I made a small donation...

thanks in advance..

It sounds like you will probably have to replace the clamp. Is there enough slack in the wire (about two inches) to move it up. If so, you will have to disconnect both cable ends, cut the ols clamp off at the base of the clamp, and strip the wires back to the depth of the new clamp. If there are multiple wires, try to twist some of them together before you install the new clamp. You also may want to use a corrosion inhibiter paste on the wire ends before installing the clamp. If you have any other questions, feel free to PM me.
