I have a 1994 honda civic that wont start when the engine is hot.Changed spark plug wires,spark plug,,cleaned the battery terminals and cables.replaced fuel filter.
When the engine gets hot,Throttle response is slow and it loose power,the car barely run when the engine get hot..i am thinking there might be a restriction in the catalyc converter or a faulty ecm...please HElp...thanksss!

When engine could not start, it could be caused by ignition sparks or fuel supply. Follow the following link and see if you can come up with any idea what is missing and we can continue from there.

Well to test a plugged catalytic convertor without any speciality tools, you can remove the upstream o2 sensor and see if you free up some power. However, the proper way to test a plugged catalytic would be to hook up a vacuum gauge to the intake manifold and measure vacuum. You can also use an infared temperature gun, scope out o2's, etc.

Your proper doesn't really sound like a plugged cat. though. These cars are known for failing distributors, you may be experiencing weak spark once the car reaches operating temperature. Remove each plug, what do they look like? Are there any trouble codes?
