Hello,

Over the weekend, the gears started to get a little sticky on my '92 Civic. In addition to increased difficulty in shifting, especially in first and second gear, the friction point on the clutch pedal seems to have gotten lower. There's very little resistance on the clutch pedal until it's depressed almost to the floor, but at that point, it does require more pressure than it used to.

Does it sound like I need a new clutch? If so, how much can I expect to pay to replace it?

Thank you!

Hi kjadams44,

You should be loooking at the clutch hydraulics system rather than the clutch assy.

Check the fluid level in clutch master cylinder.
