1991 Honda Civic Spark Plug Question

1991 Civic 4 door Sedan with 182,000 miles.

I pulled the spark plug wires off the spark plugs to check them. The spark plugs are deep into the engine and thee wires have a long attachment to connect to them. There is oil on the wires. Is this normal for a Civic, or do I have a major problem?

Hey, I had the same problem on my 91 si. I had to replace the valve cover gasket. Hope this helps.

there are seals on the valve cover that seals this area, replace the valve cover gasket. The gasket will come with them.
