just purchased a 1988 honda civic dx 31,700 miles, ive replaced the fluids with honda oils wanted to know how many quarts of transmission fluid it needs? And why does it shift into reverse harder than shifting into all of the other gears?

For fluid replacements it is 2.5 pints ( 2.4 Liters).

The most common fault for shocks when shifting into reverse is a bad rear engine mount.
