About 5 weeks ago, I started experiencing squeaking brakes. I took the car into the Service Station next to my office. They told me that the brakes were good for another year. The squeaking got louder and usually occurred as I was pulling into a parking place or coming to a stop at a traffic light or stop sign. So, I took it to a local garage that services Japaneese cars that had performed other work on the car during the past year. They told me that the front brakes needed new pads and that the rotors needed to be turned. I gave them the go ahead and later that day, after paying them $210.00, the brakes continued to squeal, even as I was driving away from their business. The noise has not gone away, but it only occurrs as I'm pulling into a parking space or slowing down to a complete stop at a light or stop sign. What is going on with the brakes?
