Hi all, I have an 87 Civic with a 1.5L Caurberated engine and a 3 speed Hondamatic tranny. Recently I replace the alternator in my Civic as it had died. However I can not get the battery light to turn off. On the 88-91 Civics I know you remove the main hazard fuse for 15 seconds to reset the computer. However this vehicle is carburated and has no such fuse under the hood, it doesn't even have a fuse bank. Any ideas?

Hi Trekinous,

Get the alternator replaced again. The replacement part is faulty.
