when picking up speed on changing gears, after a few kms, the car suddenly jerks , almost comes to a stop and picks up again. has been happening for a while now. the service centre is not sure what could be the problem . say it could be due to faulty cylinder or is it piston rings. which may have to be changed and will cost a hell of a lot. is this a manufacturing defect or a problem develope d over time due to driving and road conditions. need advise please. from bangalore india
