2000 Accord V6, 130,000 miles. I recently changed my alternator. The first time I drove it after I put the new one in I am getting a whinning from what seems to be the power steering pump/belt area. When I make a sharp turn the sound is much worse. Is it possible I did something while changing the alternator? It is hard for me to believe the water pump developed problems right after I changed the alternator. Any ideas on what I might have done to affect the power steering pump/belt? I did move the tensior pulley to remove the alternator, but it dropped back into place. Thanks for any help.
