My radio will not work in my 2002 Honda Accord EX

same thing happened to me. except my cd came out, and when I put it back in, it plays. But none of the buttons work so i can't change the cd or the song, volume, anything! (I have a jvc stereo in mine though) So I've been listening to the same cd for 2 months now! Let me know if you find out any easy fixes!

That's correct. I had to replace the radio on my daughters cl. Anytime you disconnect the battery you will have to re-program the radio. I called my local Honda dealer and gave him the serial number off of the radio for this code. You will have to pull the radio though. Not a bad job on her Acura. If the car still has the owners manual look around in all of the manual covers pockets for a code. When I was putting the code back in her manual I found the orginal code in one of the pockets. I was a factory card with the code that came w/the car. About the size of a credit card. Hope this helps.

OK guys you are correct. There is a security code on the radios and that should be something that everyone knows and keeps at hand. You can take it to the Honda dealership and they can look at certain places for the serial number of the stereo to look up on the computer the number of the code. The last resort is to pull out the radio and look for the serial number. Now, I have had this done and it was done for free.
