Wipers stopped working (all positions on column control). Pull for "wash" still works. Checked wiper fuse still good (swapped with another 30A fuse to verify). Honda dealership charged $119 diagnostic fee to run electrical continuity check and determined the wiper motor has failed (grounded). No other history at dealership for failed wiper motor in late model Accords. They also recommended repacing the wiper linkage assy, but admitted they didn't check the existing assy during diagnostic. They want 2.5 labor hours to replace motor. Is this legitimate? I don't have a labor guide.

Thank you for your reply. According to Parts Dept. at Honda dealership, the wiper motor part number for the 4DR EX is: 76505-SDA-A11 (MOTOR, FR. WIPER); the P/N in your attached Mitchell1 clip appears to be for the DX model (76505-SDN-A01) - sorry for not clarifying. Does that make a difference in the labor of 0.8 hrs? I don't plan to have them replace the 76530-SDA-A01 (LINK, FR. WIPER), unless it's recommended to always replace both regardless. Is Remove & Replace "WIPER PIVOT & LINK ASSEMBLY" for both the wiper motor and the link assembly?

Thank you, again.
