hard to put gas in 1999 accord

I have a 1999 honda accord with an OBD code of P1457 which from other searches seem to be a failure in one of the evap system solenoid valves. But the car is also hard to put fuel in. It keeps clicking the pump off every few seconds no matter how fast or slow I fuel it up. Could these be related, and if I fix the evap problem will this fix the fueling problem? Any help would be appreciated
