Hey, i own a 93 honda accord with just under 200 k miles and it has a small 2.2 litre engine. it was running hot so i checked the thermostat, and the thermo gasket blew, so i replaced it and the themostat. well now when i turn the engine on it idles at 1500 rmp then jumps to 2500 rpm for just a second then goes back down. it will rev up and down and up and down after about ten minutes the engine gets hot again?! the fans come on and i have bled the system. the throttle cables dont move the engine is just reving up and down by itself. does anyone know what might cause this?
