I have a 1990 Honda Accord LX with 125000 miles and a 4 cylinder engine. I replaced the power steering belt a few months ago and it started squealing really bad about a week or 2 after I changed it. I don't know if I installed it too tight or just incorrectly. It only squeals when you crank it for 10-15 seconds and then stops. It doesn't matter if its warm or not and doesn't matter if the AC is on or not. It does it every time. I tried to loosen it last night and that fixed it for right then, but this morning it started squealing again. On the bottom of the P/S pump there are 2 bolts. I turned both when I was installing the belt, but I think I was only supposed to turn the left one which allows the pump to drop down so you can install the belt. The right one I tried to turn back to where it was, but I'm not sure if I got it there or not. I don't know what that one does. Any help you can give me would be appreciated.
