I have a 1999 Honda Accord LX with 115,000 miles. It is a 2.3 L 4 Cylinder engine. All of a sudden I was driving my car and had no power and the check engine light came on and started blinking. I pulled over and shut the car off and the spark plug wire from cylinder 1 had popped off. I pushed it back on and everything ran smoothly. Then it happened again the same day. A person told me that I needed to replace the spark plug so I did. It seemed fine for a week, but then it happened again on the highway. Now the spark plug wire on cylinder 2 gets a little loose, but does not come off completely. What would cause this and how do I fix it?

Replace the plug wires. Any oil down in the hole? If so, you will need to replace the valve cover gasket and the well grommets for the plug holes.
