90 Accord no rear running lights

Same issue here, except the aftermarket radio was in place long ago and lights were working fine until recently.

Looked around the web, and people have suggested:

1) checking for dead fuses (I can only find the ones under the hood, and I've replaced them all).

2) electrical shorts (none that I could find).

3) replacing/rehook the radio (completely replaced with original factory deck but still no go).

4) tearing out the dashboard... (I'll hold off on this one until necessary).

Any pros know what else we're missing?

Did he install a new radio by itself?

I did the installation and used the factory harness so no loose cables AFAIK. FYI, we had a minor hit to the rear-bumper recently, but all the lights were still working afterwards for several weeks.

The power antena signal (12vdc + ) came from the radio, every time the radio its turn it on sends power to it, check that wire, the dash board lights are in series with the radio light (every time you dim the dashboard lights the radio light should dim also) this two things has to be a problem from the radio, but the running lights its another issue, could be a loose wire or disconnected harness on the back, the rear hit could loose a connector and the vibration do the rest.
