2006 Honda Accord Condensor Scraped

I stick recently pierced the bumper and bent a nice section of the outer strip of metal on the front face of the condenser. The air conditioning was working three days ago but today the compressor is not even coming on so no cool air at all. This happened back in Nov. so I had no occasion to see if it worked. How can I tell what the problem is and how much should it cost if I do need a new condenser, or is repair and a freon charge an option? Thanks for your help!

A/C diagnosis and/or repair is not something the average person can perform, legally. Basically, anyone repairing A/C systems must be certified.
The A/C system has freon (R-134a) and lubricant in it. The freon keeps you cool and the lubricant keeps the compressor oiled and somewhat cool. When the A/C system loses enough freon & lubricant the compressor will not come on as a means of protecting it from damage (due to running it without lubrication). It sounds like the freon has leaked from your system. A certified A/C repair will have the special tools & equipment necessary to locate and fix your problem. Be sure to look for the shop with the best reputation and warranty.
Remember, simply because the condenser is damaged doesn't mean that it's the main source of the leak nor the only leak your might have.
