2005 Honda Accord Navigation

My navigation system died. Dealer will not diagnos, told me it could be either the disc or the entire player. I don't want to spend approx $300 on a disc when it could be the player. What should I do?

For the first couple of weeks, the screen said something like "disc error". Then that stopped. When we start the car, we still see the disclaimer message for a few seconds, then the screen goes black. We tried to eject the disc from the player, but it won't eject.

The Navigation unit is bad, do you have extended warranty?
