Power lost to power port and cigarette lighter?

There is a power accessory relay and fuse #9 15 amp in the kick panel fuse panel, here are two guides to help test and the fuse and relay location as well

I have recently purchased a used 2001 honda accord, and found only one problem with it,is that the cigarette lighter outlet is very loose and i have been searching online to try and find the part for this to get it fixed,but can not seem to track this down, any advice to were i can either get an OEM part or generic that would fit, and also what would be the part number on this? very confused and very hard to find online! thanks for any help anyone can give!

I always call the dealer customer service when I ran into problem locating parts from local auto parts store. Most of the time the dealer has the parts you are looking for for a special order. Hope this helps.

Radio and cigarette lighter run on the same fuse. My issue is the radio works but my cigarette lighter does not. If they run on the same circuit should they both be working or not working?

The cigarette lighter could have a bad wire or ground. Use a voltmeter or 12 volt test light and check for voltage. Check out the diagrams (Below). Please let us know if you need anything else to get the problem fixed.

I finally read something in a post that you addressed for someone else that made me realize I'm in the company of someone who understands what is wrong.. my car listed above coupe 2.2l 4 cylinder sohc is the vehicle.. have an aftermarket deck, all fuses under hood and drivers side by hood release good.. what should I be looking for/trying to track down here to fix this?

There are a few things to look for... Being an aftermarket deck sometimes they have a blade style fuse located in the rear of the deck housing.Also, most aftermarket decks come with inline fuses within the aftermarket wiring harness usually in the red (positive) wire. I will look for a photo reference to attach. Can you tell me what brand aftermarket deck it is? Hope this helps and thanks for using 2CarPros.

Hi Danny, thanks for the reply. I already checked the blade fuse at back of deck, verified that it was good (even replaced with a new one just to be sure) and though you are correct and I'm familiar with most having an in-line additional tube style fuse that runs with the positive input wire, my deck does not have one.. it is a JVC with Bluetooth plus aux and USB input options, don't recall the exact model number off hand.. ran a 12v power wire from the battery and pushed it into the positive. Corresponding wire lead to the deck and it turned on and works normally if that helps any?
