Hello, I bought new tires, had a front-end alignment and my car still pulls to the left. I brought it back and they re-aligned it three times with test driving. Then they rotated the tires all ways but said the tires were good. Now they are telling me to go to the Honda dealer as it may be the steering column. Please help! Mike

Hi Mike,

Ok, since you have new tires and a front end alignment that would rule out Tie Rods and Ball Joints. Cause they wouldn't be able to do alignment if either were bad.

Now did they check the Brake for drag and/or the Wheel Bearings.

You can check by jacking up front end. Spin both front wheel, do they both spin the same. Does driver side feel tighter than passenger.

Do you hear any noises... grinding or anything that doesn't seem normal?

Post findings...

Hello! Thanks for your reply. I have not heard any unusual noises. My brakes are original at 75,000 miles. The Sears guy told me to take the car to a Honda dealer as he believes it has something to do with the steering column. I do not know if he checked for brake drag or the wheel bearings. I will soon bring it to Honda but was hoping to get some insight first so that I do not get totally ripped off. I appreciate your help. Mike

Ok, well not sure why the column would cause the vehicle to pull to the left or right for that matter. Now, maybe the steering rack if the inner seals are leaking and causing more pressure build up on one side.

Would you please post what you find out from honda for future referrance?

Thanks
