2002 Honda Accord TCS and Check Engine (P1607) are ON simul

2002 Honda Accord v6; 7,000 Milles.

TCS and Check Engine (P1607) are on simultaneously.
Driving with these two lights on is a disaster. It takes time to accelerate the car with 2500 RPM.

I am not able to reset the Check Engine by Code scanner. I have to drive for about 3 miles and make a stop. Restart engine then TSC goes away, but Check Engine still on, then I use Code scanner and reset the Check Engine.

When these two light are off, the car runs like a champion. On the next day TCS and Check Engine (P1607) are on again.

Please help me to resolve this issue…

Hi nuendo,

DTC P1607: ECM/PCM INTERNAL CIRCUIT MALFUNCTION
1. Reset the ECM/PCM
2. Turn the ignition switch ON (II).
3. Wait 30 seconds.
Is DTC P1607 indicated?
YES - Substitute a known-good ECM/PCM and recheck . If the symptom/indication goes away, replace the original ECM/PCM.
NO - Go to step 4.

4. Turn the ignition switch OFF.
5. Turn the ignition switch ON (II).
6. Wait 10 seconds.
Is DTC P1607 indicated?
YES - Substitute a known-good ECM/PCM and recheck. If the symptom/indication goes away, replace the original ECM/PCM.
NO - Intermittent failure, system is OK at this time.
