My car gets locked in park. After about 5 minutes of pumping my brakes and praying it finally unlocks. This happens every time I get in my car. This just started recently. How much would it cost to get fixed?

When gearshift is locked, check if the brake lights are working. Most probably the brake switch is faulty and intermittently not working.

Sorry I do not have the price for the brake switch but it should not cost much. Labor time is 0.5 hours
