I have a 2000 Accord EX V6 with 175,000 miles. I was nearly empty in gas when I put half a tank in it. Drove 2 miles home everything was fine. I started the car in the morning and it immediately was vibrating. The check engine light was flashing. Drove to work for two days now with the same issue. In the meantime, I placed two bottles of Heet Dry Gas and one bottle of Lucas Fuel Injector Cleaner. Got the engine codes and they are P0300 (random cylinder misfire), P0301 (cylinder 1 misfire), P0304 (cylinder 4 misfire), P0305 (cyclnder 5 misfire), and P1399 (blocked EGR passage).
The spark plugs were changed in the summer to NGK Iridiums. The misfire and catalytic converter codes would show prior and after the spark plug change, but would go away at times.
I am going to let the gas run very low before refilling. Hopefully, there was water in the gas. I use the same station, but I've read stations switch to their winter blend and 2000 Accords sometimes need to have their PCM updated along with some kit.
Any idea of where I should start with this problem. It feels like I'm running on 3 cylinders. I am going to remove the spark plugs and see if there is any oil. I am also going to remove the EGR and clean the ports.
Thanks,
