Engine fluctuates at 3000rpm. If I turn the car off and on it will stop for a bit and then the problem will return. I was getting a cam position code Camshaft Position Sensor Circuit Intermittent interruption. Can sensor is located in the distributor so I replaced the distributor and still I have the same problem. And the same code comes up. Any ideas?

Are you sure the code is correct? Honda repair information does not have P1336 listed in the database.

What scanner did you use?

Or is it P0336?

What engine do you have? The code is related to the variable valve timing. Let me know the engine size and if the oil is clean, full, and if the oil pressure light is on.

Okay, the code is related to valve timing control. Here is a flow chart. It requires an advanced scanner.
