The struts were replaced on my 99 Accord a little less then a year ago. At that same time I had them do an alignment. About a month ago they started squeaking. They are covered under warranty until February so I took it in to the shop that did the original replacement. They said it was the strut mounts but they are replacing the entire strut and mount on both sides. I have to pay for the labor though and they said it needs an alignment at $70. Do I really need another alignment if I replace the struts?

Hi there,

Yes you must have the alignment re adjusted as all the setting will be disturbed with the removal of the struts again.
