hi
I got the timing belt replaced on my car.

My question
should the car make more noises in any circumstances with the new timing belt?

its actually making a lot of noises as i accelerate the car. the service shop guy says that its because the belts are new. but the old belt that he gave me seems to be pretty good.

My car was running a lot quieter before replacing the timing belt.

Hi kunal227,

New belts should be quiet. If it is squealing type of noise, you need to check the belt tension, most probably the belts are not adjusted properly.
