My hood release cable broke an I can't open the hood. Help

Hi Curt,
If the cable broke at the latch end, it would be a sticky situation. If it had broken at the opener end in vehicle, you can try to yank the latch loose with the remaining cable, with the aid of a plier.
If the cable had broken at the latch, you need to get a stiff wire and try to get it to hook the opener which is covered. The best position is from below.
