I just took my 1998 Accord to the dealership for a 120k mile service (same as 30k). After picking it up I have noticed more 'play' in the steering as it takes more to make a change in the direction the car is going with the steering wheel. Also, if on a straight road, letting go the wheel, the car will pull left or right (not just one or the other). When straightened, it will not stay in a straight line. It is not a strong pull but it definitely doesn't stay in line as it did before service.

I called the service department and they stated that they didn't do anything that would have interfered with the steering. Any ideas on what could have caused this?

Hi warren98,

Seems the alignment is out and you need to check for worn steering linkages, ball joints.
