One axel boot is damaged and leaking. the other is dry rotted but not leaking yet.
ESTIMATE TO REPAIR DAMAGED $279
the catalytic converter needs to be replaced as well as oxygen sensors
ESTIMATE TO REPAIR $1204.68
May also have short in electrical but could be from grease leaking from axel boot and burning .
Engine has been running fine. we have regular oil changes done.
Should I get these repairs done considering age of the car? Or should I look for a newer car?
