1997 Honda Accord squeeking sound

Could be several things.

Does it also happen with you turn the wheel or turning? If so, you may have a dry balljoint on your hands.

If its soly when its over bumps it may be a stabilizer link bar or the actual bushings for the sway bar itself (unlikely however)

Can you re-create the noise in the driveway by bouncing the front suspension up and down? if so, have a friend bounce it up and have a listen with a stethoscope to which part is squeeking. Could be a shock, balljoint, endlink, control arm bushing, etc.

yes, when i push the front right side of the car up and down, the sound is heard.
it is not heard when i turn the wheel.

Great, should make for an easy diagnosis then.

Get a stethoscope and have a friend bounce the car up and down. Listen to the balljoints, control arm bushings, stabilizer links and bushings, struts, etc.

Another quick check would be, say the upper balljoint is suspected of squeeking. Sometimes if you firmly hold it together the squeeking may stop while you are applying pressure. Or you can try and spray some wd40 in there and see if it goes away.

But in my opinion, the best method is a stethoscope.
