My Accord has 135,000 miles. I have recently been experiencing very bad squeaking coming from the front driver's side suspension when driving over any imperfections in the road. This has happened before but eventually goes away. 3 repair shops have attempted to remedy the problem, but to no avail. The struts are relatively new, about 2 years old, and the bushings on the upper control arm have been replaced. This is definitely not an issue with the brakes and the CV boot is new. Also of note, the squeaking is accompanied by a rubbing feeling in the steering and in the floorboard. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Hi there,

This is just a case of looking and testing, there is not a great deal to inspect, make sure that the sub frame bolts are tight, steering rack secure, lower control arm bushes and caster rod bush, ball joints can make a loud noise as well, it is a deflection noise, so just get the car moving up and down and you will soon locate the noise, check both sides as a noise will travel and it may not be where you expect it to be.
