The power windows on the driver side front window will go down but will not go back up. When I hit the switch to raise it, there is no sound. When I hit the switch to lower the window, I hear a click letting me know that the window is try to lower but it does not move because it is already lowered. I had this problem about 2 months ago and replaced the Front Window Regulator Assembly Left Front Door Power. It worked for awhile. I had intermittent problems raising the window after installing it but for the most part it worked fine. Now all the window will do is lower but will not raise. What could be the problem?

do you have power and ground going to the window motor? If you grab the window and pull up while you have the window switch in the up position does it the window go up? If you bang on the door while you pushing up on the window switch does the window go up?

It will not go up when I pull on the window or bang on the door while simultaneously pushing the window up switch. I have even taken the window off the motor and pulled on the rail that moves the window up and down. Still only down it will go. Could it be that I bought a bad window motor or do you think that there is another electrical problem somewhere?

I would check to make sure you have power and a ground going to the window motor going both up and down. If you do then you have a bad motor. If you don't then you need to see if you are getting it from the switch. HTH.
