My son has a 1997 Honda Accord EX coupe- 4 cyl with 121,000 miles on it. When the car is first started, the ABS light is usually off and the brakes will grab and grind when applied forcfully (they are usually fine when applied normally). This usually occurs once or twice and then the ABS light comes on and the brakes appear fine under forceful or normal use. The brake pads and rotors have been checked and we were told they were fine. Do we need to replace the ABS sensor or maybe the ABS pump?
