Four cylinder front wheel drive automatic 100,000 miles.

Have tried to locate cabin air-filter. Only see A/C motor and no cabin filter location behind glove compartment area. 2005 Hyundai Elantra was simpler than pie to locate and replace. This car has more visible wires, metal bracket on bottom. Trying to locate cabin air filter, please help.
Thank you.

Thanks for the information be that the case. How does the filtration system for the cabin work then if there is any?
When I was replacing a 2005 Hyundai Elantra's, the filter was absolutely filthy after not too much time.
What was Honda thinking in the fifth generation of Accords to filter the air?

Thanks,

The cabin air filters did not really show up much in vehicles until the mid 1990's. It is not very common to find an older vehicle with a factory installed cabin filter. You can buy aftermarket cabin filter kits and have them installed. It is well worth it if you use the A/C a lot. Without one, there will be a lot of dust, dirt and debris slowing down the air flow and pollen being blown into your lungs. Cabin filters usually last around a year or so.
