1996 Honda Accord 4 cyl Wheel Drive Type unknown Automatic 140000 miles

My cars has been running very good, but recently the
Battery Light and Engine Oil Light goes off and later on sometimes when riding the car.
Today, i started the car like 3 times and it refuse to start. I waited 1minute and started it again and it worked. Please help me with what could be wrong.

Sorry can you explain what "Crank Over" means.

When it wouldn't start, did it crank over?

Did the engine turn over or did the starter just click?

Yes it did role over severally! and later starts

Now you have to start with the basics.
Do you have Spark?
Are you getting gas?
You must check for these when the car isn't starting.
Honda fuel pumps are usually pretty reliable.
Honda distributors are another story.
It sounds to me like your problen may be comming from a faulty ignitor coil in the distributor but lets check these things before we condem anything.

As for gas, it's pretty coming and can you tell me a good way to check for Spark(sorry am a novice in this)
But is it also right if i suspect the battery because have not changed the battery since i got the car and it should be more than a year now. What major symptoms comes if it's a battery issue.

As for your battery, As long as the engine is turning over at a normal speed, I would not worry too much about it.
Remove one of your spark plugs and plug it back into the plug wire, hold it up against a metal surface on the engine and have an assistant roll the engine over.
You should see a bright blue spark comming from the plug.
If the spark is kind of yellow, it is weak.
Note: you should do this when the car is acting up.
