1995 Honda Accord 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive 170000 miles
When driving, rattle sound in the form of a loud ticking sound noticeable inside the car with the windows up on passenger side front wheel area. It stops when the brake is applied, starts again when released. It stops when even slight acceleration occurs on an incline but is noticeable when going down hill, even with acceleration, although the sound is somewhat diminished. No vibrational feedback is felt in the steering wheel at any time. The sound increases in speed as the tire speed increases. Was told that it needed a rack and pinion steering assy. The passenger side wheel bearing was replaced a short time ago for more of a thumping sound, which caused that sound to stop.
