1994 Honda Accord Dash Oil Light ON

After driving the car about 50 miles the dash oil light came on. I stopped and checked the oil it is fine. I took it the oil change to make sure it has oil on it. They said that the oil is fine and suggested to take it to auto repair. Drove to auto repair and they told me that the oil pressure is low that causing the engine warn out.
The car runs fine but after a while the oil light cams on. Any advice to save this car would be appreciated.

that could just mean your oil pressure sending unit is faulty. I would have that changed and see what happens. if that proves not the problem, then it could be the oil pump.

I took my 1994 Honda accord to auto repair. Based on diagnostic low oil pressure therefore they change oil filer and put 50WT Oil. They told me that the oil pressure doesn’t hold so the engine is worn-out. After the repair immediately while I was driving it I notice the dash lights all out. I took back and they replace it. The car has 177K. I am desperate to spare this car life for a while? Professional advices on this greatly appreciate.

If it is as that shop says, a worn engine, there is no cure except rebuilding or replacing the engine. SAE 50 and still no pressure, = rebuild time, They are sure the oil pump is OK? There are some products that may stretch the inevitable, like Risolone compression restorer, or ring restorer. Use your normal oil and add a can to the oil during the oil change, may help some.
