How do you disconnect the axle from transmission? I have the new axle,and I see there is a c clip on the side that enters the transmission,but how do you release the old one from the transmission?How do you get to the c clip on the old axle?You know (get it out)......I have everything apart already,just can't release the axle from the transmission....Thanks

Hello,

There is a special tool for easy removal you can get at your local parts store. However, if you have room and a pry bar you can get it out. All you need to do is find a good spot on the back side of the axle at the tranny were you can pry the axle, well actually you will need to snap or quickly pry it out. It may take a few tries before it will come out.
